Hemorrhoids are normal “cushions” of tissue filled with blood vessels, found at the end of the rectum, just inside the anus. Together with a circular muscle called the anal sphincter, they help control bowel movements.

But when people talk about “having hemorrhoids,” they usually mean a medical condition caused by enlarged hemorrhoids — often associated with symptoms such as itching, mucus discharge, or bleeding without pain. This condition is also known as “piles.”

Although hemorrhoids are treated medically, there are still some things offering the alternative medicine that you can do home, in case you want to heal this uncomfortable condition.

Try not to seat in hours without interruption.

At least 5 minutes walking on every hour. Also rounded fluffy pillow can make you feel comfortable while you seat, can make you feel relief.

Vaseline

Apply small amount of Vaseline on the anus while doing defecation. This can reduce the pain

American witch-hazel

Applying witch-hazel has noninflammatory effect and can reduce the pain and the itching.

Paracetamol

If you need a medicament for pain relief use paracetamolAvoid ibuprofen or aspirin because of the fact that they boost the bleeding

Keep that place clean

Always, especially after defecating, make sure you wash the anus but carefully, with lukewarm water and no rubbing.
