One thing that is certain in life is change. Surprisingly, it’s  something that people resist the most. This is the main reason why most of us are so far from happiness today.

When things don’t go our way or we experience difficulties in life our normal reaction is to regard the situation itself as the problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience arise from within the mind.

If we want to find long lasting happiness and freedom from suffering we must improve our understanding of the mind.

Problems arise only if we react to difficult situations with a negative state of mind. Therefore in order to find key to happiness , if we want to be free from problems we must gain control of our mind.

If you want to be happier,  begin by being good to yourself. That may sound self-evident, but too many people skip this step and try to make themselves happy by chasing ever-higher goals, or holding themselves to ever-greater standards of perfection.

The happiest people go out of their way to treat themselves right and they do something nice for themselves each day.
